Evgeny Romanovich Chuprun was born on June 3, 1927 in the city of Ilovaisk, Donetsk province, Ukrainian SSR, USSR.

In 1949 Evgeny Chuprun graduated from the Kaspiysk Naval Higher School named after Sergei Kirov, located in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan. From 1949 to 1975, I have served in the Navy, having held various command positions.
Evgeny Chuprun has participated in art exhibitions since 1960 as a maritime and historical painter and landscape painter.
The professional training he had from prominent artists Alexander Sokolov, Nikolai Galakhov, Vladimir Seleznev.
His personal exhibitions were in Leningrad in 1986 and 1989.
